It’s been three years,
For some, they’ll say, ‘Three years? How time flies.’
What they don’t know,
Are tears falling nightly,
Are the heartaches of missing a soul,
Are the prayers that don’t ever seem enough,
It is painful…
But….
When we think how unfair His wish seems,
We just have to believe,
Yes…we believe,
That she is now in peace,
Held within His hands,
Away from worldly illnesses and misery.
And so, dear Lord,
We know it’s been three years,
And You know, o the utmost Knowledgeable, that it’s been hard,
Please hear our prayers,
You took Mom,
Love her just as she had loved us,
Brighten her path to Heaven just as she had brighten our life path,
Forgive her sins just as she had had spread her arms of forgiveness to us,
We won’t ask for more,
Please grant our pleas, Lord,
And when we know Mom is happy with You in Heaven,
Then maybe,
Just maybe,
Life without Mom is hard no more….
