One Fine Evening ....

He just came out of the blue. No news at all. I had known that he had an important physical training sessions earlier in the morning. It was dusk. Cool and humid, yet romantic. I was just finished taking my evening bath when I went down to see him in the living room. He gave a comment how great I smelled that evening. Embarrassed, I couldn't say a word. He smiled when he saw me blushing. He only said, "I am hungry. Please, can we go out and have a bite?" I then dressed with whatever I could grab. 'I have to dress quickly', I said to myself knowing that he WAS very hungry otherwise he's not going to say that.

We went directly to his car. The second I opened the door I screamed, "Durian? You have durian with you?" "Aaaww... It's not a surprise anymore," he said. How could he know I like durian? I asked and he told me, "You said that a long time ago." When he mentioned it, yes, I remember I had said that. But I could not even remember whether he was around or not. It's amazing how he had remembered.

We went around the complex to search for the food he longed to have. I was concentrating on looking for a place to eat that I did not mind sitting on the wet car seat. He said that he and his mom were caught in the rain and they had to sit on the now-wet car seat.

We finally stopped at a restaurant a bit far from my house. I remembered he mocked me about not liking chicken's internal parts of the body. When he finally finished eating, we went back to the car. In the car he said,"Why don't we have our durian NOW?" The surprised me could only say, "Oh? Okay? Is it OK with the parking man?". He mentioned that I should not be so worried about it. We started eating the durian in the parking lot. Giggling and messing the car with the pits of the durian. We finished the durian in only 15 minutes. He then told me that he should return me home soon. On the way home, rain started to drop. It's the early evening already. I was feeling a bit romantic. So i did a bit of singing. I didn't know why I chose this song. Maybe because he liked it, too.

Now, I can still remember the feeling. Ultimate peace. Loving warmth. Unconditional love....

That was a fine night. My kind of night i have cherished and will cherish in my lifetime.
