Apple Pie Ala Mode

Few nights ago I went to a resto to buy a late dinner for the people at home. It's like a habit I can't get rid off, I ordered a glass of iced tea and a portion of apple pie ala mode to kill time. An order like that?To kill time? Yeah! Right! Hahaha.

When the order finally came and I started to dig in, my spoon cracked the outer part of the apple pie bag and I knew instantly that it must be very crispy.... I began my food-discovery journey by splitting the pie in two. The apple and its juice ran down and I quickly mixed the pie and the ice-cream before I put the mix into my mouth.

The sensation....

Hmmm...

The crispy pie bag....

The warm apple....

A hint of cinammon....not too much....

The luscious vanilla ice-cream...
All combined into one.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmhhhhh......

The apple pie ala mode at Ricebowl? Definitely a hidden treasure! And I'm glad I've found it.
