'Distant' Call

Easier communication makes the world become smaller and smaller day by day. You can practically connect with anyone anytime anywhere in the world with no fuss at all. With that, I shouldn't have been suprised to know that my name and my cellphone number are basically 'all over the place'.

Yesterday while driving in a heavy traffic after the rain, I got a call. It's a number I didn't recognize. I picked it up anyway, thinking 'what the heck, it's traffic jam and the music from the radio doesn't cheer me up a bit'. It's from a male. He needed private sessions for conversation at his office. After asking usual questions like 'is it a company-paid course', 'is it a group or individual', 'what line of business' and many more, I finally asked the ultimate question: 'where's your office?'

'Tanjung Duren'

GUBRAAAAAAAG....!!!!!.

Apparently he got my name and number from a friend's friend. He didn't want to tell me who.

See what I mean by 'all over the place'? Maybe I should start thinking about changing my cellphone number from time to time, eh?
