He tends to whine a lot when he's sick. I guess he's just looking for attention. He does that all the time.
This time, he also said that he couldn't stand near food that has specific 'aroma' like chilli, onion, or anything like that. I didn't see him throw up. I then assumed his body doesn't reject food. So I just asked the magic question anybody can ask to any patient: 'what do you want to eat?'
Here are his answers....
Day one: banana, hot sweet tea and bread.
Day two: fried tempe, rice with sweet soya sauce, hot sweet tea and banana.
Day three: rice with sayur tahu tempe, banana for the afternoon. Rice with tongseng kambing in the evening.
Day four: rice with left-over tongseng with salted egg in the morning. For lunch and dinner, rice with bebek goreng kremes and sambel goreng teri pete.
Day five: rice with corned omelette, rambutans, steamed sweet corns in the afternoon and for dinner? Fettucini!
Some food I got easily, some others needed more 'struggles'. You know which one(s), right? It felt like catering for the appetite of a pregnant woman. :-)
Well, can't blame him. Anybody would do anything for their sick parents.
