Ujung Genteng Part 4

We just have a very sound sleep that night after our visit to the 'turtle land'. Eventhough many others have had a plan to see the sunrise on the other side of the beach the early morning, we have decided to just hang out and have a quiet breakfast instead. Breakfast is rice, noodle and chicken and I order hot tea for the three of us.

Afterwards, we are back on the beach and take some pics in our own photography-like pose. We have around 2 hours from 8 to 10 to enjoy ourselves with the view and our cameras before returning to the cabin for the last packing. At exactly 11 AM, we are off to Amanda Ratu. It is said to be the 'tanah lot' of SUKABUMI and before we reach the place, I wonder if it is close enough to it.

The trip from Ujung Genteng to Amanda Ratu takes around 50 minutes. The view is spectacular!! I don't know whether it truly is the 'tanah lot' of SUKABUMI but the sea water seems more blue here. I have a headache since morning so I can't take my jacket off the whole time. It is definitely hot and the sun shines like crazy, but I just can't stand the wind. We have our lunch here and for the first time, the cook serves VEGGGIIIIIEEEEESSSSS!!! It is an ensemble of rice, vegetable soup and corn fritata. YUUMMMM!!!!

I visit the reception desk and peek into the price list. It is quite affordable! For Rp 508.000 nett, we can have a bungalow with three bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room! That's A BARGAIN! Hmmm, I and my friends are then considering a girl's trip someday. THAT could be wonderful!

After some more pics, some more poses and some more visits to the toilet, we make our way to Jakarta at 1.15 PM. From Amanda Ratu to the junction of Pelabuhan Ratu - Ujung Genteng, it takes around 2 hours. We stop at a gas station for an hour and continue our trip to Sukabumi. Too bad that the traffic is full that day. The supposedly 3-4 hour trip to Jakarta takes around 5 hours. We are all tired, sleepy and desperate to smell our own bed and pillows (or maybe it's just me... hehehe). There's a surprise on the way, though. Among that traffic jam, we are served with dinner!!! It's wrapped in paper consisting of rice, chicken and rice noodle. Not bad to fill up a rather empty stomach. That's what I call 'good service'.

Finally we arrive at the meeting point at 9 PM. After ordering a taxi and fetching my car at Mona's house, I drive home. That is a fun fun fuuuuun trip!!!!
