To Let Go

Soon my sister is leaving the house, having her own family and thus, having her own affairs to take care of. It's still in October, I know, but I can't help the i-miss-her-already feeling. Melancholic? I know. But we grew up together. When my Mom got her first stroke when she was 38, my sis was practically still in 2nd grade of elementary school so I didn't think she got as much attention as her friends did. I was with her most of her time. That's why we are so close.

I remembered that she'd go out when I was ready for school and watched me go until I was out of her sight. From time to time, I had to look back and wave everytime she shouted my name.

She had long hair and I'd do her hair in different styles almost everyday. She'd proudly go to school with any style I made. No matter what style I made. Hehehe.

Though I didn't get much pocket money when I was in highschool, I managed to save some and take my bro and my sis to go for a walk, just to have a bowl of meatball and a portion of es teler.

I drove her to her college everyday at 5.30 with my Mom and she'd have her breakfast in my car and the three of us would talk about many things.

Plenty...plenty of memory.... I know I have to let her go, but I still don't know how....
