Thanks for your hellep.
This particular student has been learning with me for a year. I know that I have had my success by increasing his TOEFL score up to 100 points. The next challenge came when he did not pass the 'other' test as a requirement to be promoted: writing. I have my doubts and told him. He has double positions too now which means he has to go to the office the earliest and go home the latest. He won't have as much time to learn with so many morning meetings to attend. His answer? He said that 'it is now the point of no return'. Yeah, I shouldn't have asked the question if I already know he's going to say that. But he did notice that I did not enjoy the sessions as much as I usually did. He told me that and I had to give him my yada-yada so he did not feel the worried feeling I have.

I heard the 'other' test is going to be in September. I suggested that we wait till he settles down with his positions and try next year, but he insisted on having it asap. Another question I shouldn't have asked. Anyway, that means it's THIS year.

Hmmm....With so limited time, his writing skills (you know what I mean), clear target and considering it as MY challenge (which I have to) takes a lot of hardwork. He said he is committed to that. I guess I have to make it mine, too.

It's the point of no return....
