I had asked him once whether he wanted to continue his struggle for a better position.
I had asked him if he's having trouble with his new position.
He said, "This is the point of no return."
So, I said, "Okay, if this is what you want, we'll make it happen."
But when I texted him last Thursday afternoon, no reply till 9 P.M. My waiting was ended by a phone rang. "This must be him," I thought. Oh, no. No more excuses. I don't want to hear them.I didn't even want to see who's on the phone screen.
The second ring.
"Oh, yeah. This one is definitely him, alright..." I let it ring till silence was in the air.
Then... a message alert. Though very annoyed, I found the fact hilarious. He really did mean to say something. Expecting the worse, I finally reached to my phone and read the message.
"Good day, Miss. Apparently I have to attend the opening ceremony of Indonesia International Motor Show ... yadayadayada".
Great. Another postponement.
What did you say again? The point of no return?
Yeah, right.... :-(
