S u p e r m a r k e t s : Stay Away!

On my way to the place I'm now teaching, I always pass this small supermarket. No, not the Alfamart or Indomaret kind. This is the one with the not-so-popular name: Berkah. What interests me also was that its parking lot is never empty. The lights attract my attention as well. In my mind I thought that there maybe few or more unique stuff or perhaps some items that I cannot seem to find else where. Somehow I made a promise to visit the place before my class finally ends. A promise to myself, of course.

After passing it for ten times, I finally had time to stop by. Do you know what I found embarassing? I smiled, I grinned, I quietly jumped and I hummed when I got off the car and was ready to go inside. Like a child, I had the happiest feeling. It feels like you are on a trip to go to an amusement park; you know you're having fun soon though you're not there yet. Weird, eh? At least I thought so when I arrived home.

I did buy Brasso and Pisang Susu syrup for Dad, karbol, sardines, instant noodle for home needs and malt chocolate balls for myself. Not bad priorities. At least everybody at home could use most of them, right? But I just can't help this feeling of being weird.....

I realized, I have this weakness for small supermarkets. #!$%!! those alluring supermarkets! Why do you have to be tempting? Stay away from me because I can't stay away from you.... Hiks....
