I can't say that I was happy the first time I heard about my next 'big' assignment to go to a small town in Sumatra to teach a bunch of employees some English. First of all, it'll be in a small town (that I heard) is far from anywhere. The nearest crowd is perhaps an hour drive away. Second, it was 3 weeks (initially) but now it'll be six weeks. You won't hear 'yippee' coming out of my mouth, definitely. Last but not least, I am scheduled to leave at the end of this month, a week after a very long period of holiday, and yet, no briefing and no formal letter of notification to me, let alone to my boss.
Hmmmm.... I am beginning to lose it .... :-(
