Making Car Payment Book Duplicate

Just a sharing on what to do if you lost your Car Payment Book (Bukti Pembelian Kendaraan Bermotor - BPKB). It's painstaking and costs you your time and patience, not to mention physical endurance; however, it's something that you have to do to ease your 'later' part of your life because without it, you won't be able to prolong your car documents.

Here goes.
There are fourteen requirements you have to meet:
1. A copy of your car document, make at least five of them,
2. A copy of ID card of the car owner,
3. Police report about the missing book, do this before you go to POLDA. You'll get this at POLRES, NOT POLSEK for free,
4. A document and copies of physical check of the car's condition,
5. Put 2 ads telling that you lost the book and that it's no longer valid,
6. Copy all of the above and then go to the Criminology Unit in POLDA to get the Notification Letter from them,
7. A form of request to be filled in,
8. A form of agreement,
9. A letter granting you as the bearer of the car owner's rights (only if you're not the car owner but you take care of this process),
10. Car payment slip,
11. A copy of the bearer's/ car owner's ID,
12. Car history,
13. Document blocking/ not,
14. Photograph of the bearer/ car owner.

Talk about red-tape, eh....
