In a personal scope, the consequences of making decisions are our own to take. Considering how big the consequences of your decisions when involving people sometimes, especially if you were a leader, the decision making process can show your leadership quality. If they are not popular decisions, are you responsible enough to take whatever comes after? Or are you asking someone to answer the reason of that decision for you?
Decision is based on considerations. Considerations are based on facts that are patternable (can be seen frequently and are creating patterns :) ), enough for someone to make a decision. Mind you, the key word is patternable. So what happens when a decision is made based on the patterns of facts, bad ugly facts, everyone else could see how right the considerations are and yet, someone is too afraid to bluntly say it? And believe me, that's not the worst of it.
He's becoming the joke of the community. A real joke. Everyone loses respect. They call him a coward.Well.... (shrugged shoulders).
No one enjoys having conflicts with other people. But when you make an unpopular decision to get everything right, you do whatever it takes and be responsible about it. Now, that's a true leader.
