Everybody enjoyed their good times. Yep,it was the reunion day. I heard screams here and there. I saw hugs, kisses and grins everywhere in the room.
Some people just didn't seem to care about the white top dress code (to minimize the possible 'gaps'), which was alright, but some did ignore and put on their best dresses and outfits, makeups and hairdos. A day to day habit? A cover up? I mean,it's a reunion. We knew you guys then. No point of showing off or pretend that you're people who aren't the true you,eh? Oh, well.... :(
The band was playing the tunes and this sports teacher sang oldies songs, like 3 or 4 of them. :O And they were not good to listen to,if I may add (naughty ex student. :D )
Then, there came the game part. We collected prizes from fellow friends for each game. In fact, there were too many prizes that we didn't know how to 'throw' them away. :v
When the games were done,it was time for the door prize. DOOR PRIZE?Ooooohhh, yeeeaaahhhh!!! We had two handphones, a plane ticket, and two flat TV. Thanks to donations by friends up to 10 million in total. Not bad for a begging spree a month before the D day. :v One TV was for the participants (all ex students) and another was for the 4 teachers that we invited after a lottery of only 4 names. The winner of the first TV was a friend who had been unemployed for a long time. He used to be a basketball idol, yet life was quite hard for him after high school. If I had been him, i'd have taken the TV or exchange it to a sum of money. I listened in awe when I heard the MC telling everybody that he would give the TV to one of the teachers. :O Couldn't believe my ears! In the committee room most of the time, I rushed to the stage just to prove that I heard right. No mistake there. He did it.I mean, he DID it.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
Till this day, that's all i could say about that event.
WOW!
