Back then in JHS

Last week's visit to my junior high school was obligatory. I had to come because the money donated by all of us from the alumni was with me. :( The building is renovated and now it has two stories.

It is easier to remember what life in high school was like after meeting some teachers there. Some haven't changed a bit, some have got a little bit more 'serious'. Though it was a student-teacher relationship 21 years ago and now, somehow our meeting with them that day brought the age difference a little bit closer. We see each other as 'friends'.

So, what's the memory back then that lingers?

1. I was a boyish girl. Very much. I could spend hours climbing trees and read on the trunks. :r

2. I loved (and I still do) electronic lesson. We made bells, learnt how to calculate the volt and made the scheme for a particular electronic device.

3. I loved English already back then. :D

4. I got some 'crazy' fans back then. They'd kneel in front of the class just to get my attention. To me, they're just 'crazy' people. Hey, I didnt ask for them to do it, it was my lunatic classmates' request who wanted to embarras me. :P

5. I've 8 and 9s for science. Yeah, I was quite smart back then. (What about now? Hahahaha. :r)

6. I didn't like (and I still do) to spend the weekend in the plaza or crowd so I took basketball, paskibra and pencak silat for my extracurricular activities.

7. Unlike the girls these days, I didn't get the meaning of 'puberty' from my Mom. I learnt that from friends and magazines. (!!!)

8. At the end of my high school years, I had to take over my Mom's role in the family bit by bit because of her stroke. The experience, I guess, has helped me to become who I am. :)

9. Soooo many things, so many stories to tell. And they are all kept in three sets of journals that I still keep until now.

Hmmmm.
