It was one of the lousiest days. Tired to the bone. I parked my car and after taking out all the stuff from the car, as usual, started to water the plants. It's a kind of habit that no matter how late of how tired I am, I consider my plants my stress therapist to end any day. That night, I smelled something so sweet, almost spooky sweet when I bent to take the hose. I remembered how my sis told me that the mango tree in our front yard is the house of a woman demon. But I just knew what the culprit was.
Five meters away from where I first smelled the fragrance was my kemuning. I smiled. Just couldn't help it. I reached for my camera, took a chair and started sitting in front of the bunches admiring the white flowers and enjoying the smell. I knew that the beauty probably wouldn't last till morning so I did take my time despite the late hour. It was almost 22.30. After a half hour, I decided that it was already too quiet outside. My neighbors are familiar with my interest in taking pictures of everything everywhere. But at this hour? Some may start to think I'm crazy. Hehehe.
Just like some people enjoy collecting stamps or stuffed animals, watching movies, reading vintage books, writing novels or even blogging, flowers and nature can be my remedies for any tiring day spent with lousy people. Yes, sometimes I could be that easy to please. LOL.
And by the way, I have my own history with the flower. My 'name' used to be KEMUNING before DAFFODIL. ;-)
