Sun Tzu vs Confucius

I've read all Sun Tzu's books since junior high school and have fallen in love with all the strategies he wrote. Most of his words are about surviving, winning and leadership strategies. To 'balance' it, I read Confucius principles. The principles taught me to take everything easy, to focus on oneself being, and to humanity. The two opposites influence me in ways unimaginable at times.

Here's one of my favorite Sun Tzu's quotes:

Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.

One of Confucius quotes I love is:

To be able under all circumstances to practice five things
constitutes perfect virtue; these five things are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness.
