Spare Energy

With more than 12 working hours per day, my body cannot take it anymore. I feel a discomfort sensation in my tummy, have got stomach hard to the touch and I burp a lot. It's similar symptoms like last month's only last time was worse. I got my medicine from my sis who's a doctor but I know that this is not an ordinary gastric problem.

I went to the lab and got my blood test yesterday. I asked for a check on my liver function and a typhoid fever test pack. The next morning, the result showed me an ugly sight. My 'body report' scores are all red. The SGPT and SGOT levels are 29 points and 53 points for liver normal states of 27 and 34. And there's a sign of a typhoid which I know can make its return when one doesn't have enough rest.

After my phone calls this morning, I got complaints from my sis saying that I should change my sleep time. Another from my dad who, surprisingly, gave me a piece of his mind. For the first time in my life he told me that I've worked too hard and so little fun I have had. Considering how rarely he makes this kind of remark, it's wise to listen to him this time.

Still, I can't escape from the world. As much as I want to rest, I have to make my travel. If a cat has spare lives, I have my bank of spare energy. Here goes nothing....
