I'm finally here.
It's as hot as before but later that afternoon it rained. I guess it's a good welcoming sign since there hadn't been any rain for 5 days.
This project that makes me visit Jogja is a complicated one. There are SOPs from Cambridge that I have to strictly follow.
What makes this trip more burdensome is because my partner from Jogja didn't attend the preparation meeting. I have to bring all equipment by myself on my way. It's not customary to bring 3 pieces of luggage when traveling by plane but I have to make an exception this time. I have to, literally, guard the test booklets with my life. Losing the whole test package is definitely impossible to tolerate. In other words, I could lose my whole clothes and other stuff, but not the test pack.
I was tired and my stomach did hurt so much when I arrived in the branch but the show must go on. Briefing, categorizing and doing simulations were on the agenda. Before we realized anything, it's late afternoon already.
Thankfully I reached the hotel before I drained the energy that's left of me. After taking the much needed sleep, I hailed a becak and had a short round of Jogja. Traffic was heavy. No wonder because it's the night of Jumat Kliwon. A big Grebeg was coming in the morning.
Under normal circumstances, I'd walk around Jogja. At anytime of the day. This time, I had to make a choice not to go anywhere that night. I promised myself that I'd get that Grebeg moment the next morning. For that, I have booked a becak. :-P
