It was my first time to use the service of a property agency and I was thrilled at the idea. Two weeks ago we met with a rep from a different agency and it was not professional at all. First of all, the appointment was supposedly at 10 but they postponed it till 12. Secondly, when we had our lunch, the rep sat down with us and ordered lunch!
Then he took us to a place that we'd been 'eye-ing on' but he said that the owner is in USA so we couldn't get in. I asked myself, so what's the point of showing us the place? So we can peek from the glass windows like thieves? Who do you think we are?
Afterwards, we stopped at several houses. Just in front of them. For a few seconds only and then we took off. My colleagues and I who were in the second car behind the car where the rep was in got confused. I was beginning to think that we were just wasting our time.
The last place to visit was a house near the electricity plant. It is only 500 meters from the sea! Located in a remote area. Next to it is a PURWACARAKA school of music that was recently closed. Two of his colleagues showed up. For the survey purpose, I brought my GPS and my Jakarta map. Based on those, I could tell that there's no sign of future business for education in the area. By then, I'd had it up to here! (pointing at my forehead, of course).
You have no idea how glad I was when they'd decided to call it a day. If we ever continued the survey, I didn't think I could take it anymore. No more.
