The Survey Part Two

After learning the hard way, I decided to do things my own way. I browsed and found several vacant places. With my GPS, looking for these places by myself wasn't that hard. It was very tiring but no grunting was involved so it was OK.

The last place I went to that day was a property agency. I made my choices and we made an arrangement to visit at least five destinations today.

We started on time and there were 2 reps who accompanied us. We visited a land which I thought is not strategically located. Then two houses, one is the rep's house and then a large house that I love so much. There are some reasons behind my preference: it's strategically located (it's near schools, residential areas and public transportation passes the complex), the room arrangement will not take many renovations to make it work, it has a decent parking lot and we can set the facing of the building in anyway we want which I think is very important for a business. No, no, it's not the feng shui thing. It's the gates and the street kind of thing. Buuuuut, it's very expensiiiiive. Huh. If only I had as much money as Gayus.

Then we went to a house that is now a restaurant. A bit small, only 300 meters and it's in a quiet area. It's OK for a small investment but my heart doesn't go for this one. I've got a feeling that my big big bosses are going to like this place. We'll see whether I'm right.

The last building is a 4-story one. There's no elevators so we had to climb up. And the air. Ugh! Bad ventilation system. It's worse than the way my previous place was arranged. The rep asked me whether I've got a chemistry on this one, I said bluntly, "I've got no say in this. I'm sorry."

But all in all, I'm satisfied with the way this agency works. They're on time, they've got the keys to the houses and they didn't talk that much which give me this professional imaging. They'd promised me to find some more possibilities but they failed to do their homework. Well, it's not OK but still acceptable. Oh yeah. One more thing, they didn't ask for a set of lunch just like the previous rep.

During the whole 'trip' I had to bear all the stairs and the non air-conditioned rooms. Some have not been occupied too so the air was suffocating. When I finally returned to the office, my energy had been drained. I never knew that surveying can be so tiring.
