The End of Term

In life, sometimes it is tiring to imagine how on earth we could go through all of the extra work, extra effort, extra space to leave so we can be more patient and extra energy. Trying to live it up day by day seems to be the best choice we have. Who knows that all of a sudden it is already the end of the term???

These are the signs showing that end-of-term fevers:
1. The language section would lack of tape recorders since most teachers would give the second periodic test a day before the test day,
2. Some people are already discussing on how to spend the short term break,
3. Many students make last minute payment and last minute student card request,
4. The secretary of the language section starts rushing teachers to collect their term reports and the attendance lists for the promotion tests,
5. The AOOs are busy looking for extra proctors and extra examiners and they could be oh-so-sweet so that the "target" will not have the heart to say "no",
6. The schedule for potluck is set (we usually have that at the end of the term on the interview test day),
7. Announcement boards are full of papers and notes,
8. Many students take their periodic test in the teachers' room because they are absent during the class' original test schedule,
9. Many teachers stay longer in the office just to set extra time to finish all the reports.
