My Esprit de Corps

People always say 'There's a first time for everything'. Ain't that so true!!! I was asked to come to an education expo and be a consultant there this afternoon. Honestly, I was very reluctant to go. I am home now, my body sore all over and the level of tiredness I can't even describe for you to imagine. But I am happy....

Many people came to our exhibition stand and asked plenty of questions. I thought that they all would be our first-time customers. It turned out that I was totally wrong. Many of our ex-students came to visit and asked about how we have developed and the varieties of programs we have had recently. Some also talked about the possibility of returning to us as teachers or students in our institutions. My... my ... my.... That was soooo very much totally awesome!!!!! Their coming boosted my spirit and I can't help it thinking that I am not the only one who is proud to be an alumni....

During my time to take the holy water before I prayed in the exhibition area, I went to the restroom. While I was doing my thing, two high school students came and they seemed a little bit awkward. I didn't know what the reason was until I heard their dialog....

"Wah... gue lupa tuh pake sepatu gue...."
"Nah lho!! Elu gimana sih. Mau wudhu malah nyeker gitu..."
"Yaaahhh...abis gimana... Gue mikir gue masih di LIA!"
"Ah elu mah!! Keterlaluan.... Jelas-jelas udah di tempat laen. Ingetnya di LIA mulu!"

Can you imagine? They even brought their perception of a restroom in our institution in a different place!!!! If that's not love, then I don't know what it is .... Hehehehe....
