He sounded happy when I asked what the gender of his future baby would be. "It's a boy, mbak." The news was kind of a surprise for me because when I'd asked him the same question two months earlier the answer was,"It's going to be another girl, I guess." I understand if his 'text tone' sounded 'flat. He has two girls already. A boy would bring fresh breeze into his life. After reading that in the text and couldn't help feeling 'flat' too, I whispered, "No man can foresee Your wish, o Lord. No man... Give him what You feel is the best."And it's a boy.... The good news lighted up the office room. Everybody seemed infected by this new member thing. I did, too....
