ROB : Again?!?!?!?!

Looking at the TV screen and finding out about this specific flood the people in North Jakarta are going through, I thought, "Hey! This problem should have been resolved already." It's just so obvious that the weather has been quite friendly recently. The sun is shining and no rain nor full moon to 'attract' that water, either from the river or the sea. Yep! The weather certainly is not a problem.

Is it the budget? Well, the flood had been going on for two months last November and December till early January. Up to now, it's been three months. That three months is more than enough to hold emergency meetings, decide on something and get the plan to work. Or... am I too naive?

I did my own little research. Jakarta clearly needs that seawater barricade. Why? Java sea is HIGHER than the coastal area of Jakarta. Kind of reminding you of Holland, eh? My dad said that the governor or whoever must learn from the Dutch to make a permanent construction to stop the seawater from coming to the heavily-populated Jakarta coast. With a good construction, it will last long and no water can flood the area: rain or no rain, full moon or new moon.

Please... please the people 'up there' who have the 'power'....
I've been flooded before and it was JUST ten days. Ten days and it was very tiring ....

Can't imagine if I had to go through that for two months.....
