ARGH!

Compared to this old place that I used to buy gadgets and computer-related stuff, this new place is far more crowded in terms of visitors and employees working there.

I went there today because I wanted to fix my 80 GB flash disk I bought 4 months earlier at that same place. I know that I didn't come to buy anything and so the shop has hard cash transfer from me to them. Talk about its service.... Well, let's just say that I'd expected more.

First, when the clerk received the disk, she displayed that oh-how-come-it's-broken look. When I finally convinced her to take it to the technician, he looked at me and asked, "What happened?". After my answer, 'When it is connected, it has no data in it.', he then said, "Owwww... it's virus..." Without even connecting it to the computer.

I insisted that if it's infected, my computer then was infected. I clearly made my point by putting on that hard-steel eyes and cold look. He hooked the disk to several notebooks and after trying to no avail, he found out that there's something else he had to do: open the case of the disk.

Well, OK. It's sealed by the store. I assumed nothing would go wrong about taking off the seal when the technician told me that he would have to send it to the distributor. Apparently, I was wrong. A different clerk who was supposed to give me a receipt for leaving a merchandise had that full-of-question look. I then saw her having arguments with the technician and after that she came to me and asked me this question (which considering the time and circumstances was truly silly), "Bu, you did open this case?"

ARGH! I said,"Nope! I didn't even know how!". The second after that my face headed to the technician and I shouted,"It was still sealed when I came here the first time, right?" The technician nodded. ARGH! ARGH! ARGH! I really don't care when the clerk was iritated by me.

I finally had to leave the disk on the counter. I was glad to be out of that place.

Leaving the shop, somehow I got the feeling that I shouldn't keep my hope too high to have my disk fixed....
