An Inspiring Leader (A Dream)

I am staying at home today. It's not a hard cold, but it's enough to keep me at home. The time spent gave enough chance to think of a question.

Do good leaders at work motivate their followers to give their best?

I believe so.
Motivation comes from within. If what surrounds you work hard, you'll be embarassed to be lazy. If the workplace has the puctual culture, you'll be punctual too. Even if there isn't punishment for tardiness. If the people you work with have their positive attitudes towards others, you'll definitely return it with similar one, maybe more.

Positive attitudes also means trust. At work with colleagues, trust that your friends will watch your back. Trust that they will keep you away from harm, in any form. Trust that they'll help you in any way they can.

If you're a leader, trust that your subordinates will do their best. Trust that they won't let anything wrong happening for any reason. Trust that when there is trouble, they'll want to be a part of the recovery team.

And when there is trust, there is a cycle of ongoing tests of achievements. Every step is a trial and error process. You can either succeed or fail. A cycle of success can mean you earn more trust from others. If you fail, others want to see how you get up, settle it and, if possible, make a greater achievement as the fruit of the effort you failed previously.

Definitely, definitely NOT pointing your fingers on people to put your blame.
