Committee

As if I hadn't had anything else to do, I agreed to help with the preparation for my junior high school reunion. :o The committee consists of only few people. Eight to be exact. As overwhelmed as I could be, I didn't express my surprise of the number of the members. It's a big gathering and to make sure success takes place, the more people are involved, the more crowded it would be. After all, that's what makes a gathering successful, right?

Based on my experience to get 'in touch' with organizations or structures, there are people with different characters who are involved. The lazy ones : the ones who procrastinate with excuses starting from, "Aw! I forget!" to "Sorry guys. I am busy". The (want-to-be-considered-as) leader type: the ones who do not bother to hold on to the meeting agenda because 'their agenda' is the center of the meeting world. The 'talker' type: the ones who come up with ideas. Ideas which are not feasible or out of the question, unfortunately. Besides, they usually let other people get the work. The quiet ones: work avoidant, conflict avoidant, lazy (?), sceptics but sometimes they act as if they had the control over everything. Sometimes I think that these people want to look charismatic and wise. :r Awww, please!

There are many of the types in this particular crowd. And I have to grin and bear what I think and feel inside for two weeks. So help me, God....

According to you, what type am I?
I think I am the active type. The proof is that,...no snacks are left behind in the meetings I am in!

Besides "EXAGGERATING IS AN ART", the other thing I believe in is that:
"NO SNACKS WANT TO BE LONELY."
