Again and Again

There are times when I am in a situation that's felt so familiar, as if I had experienced the same thing. For example, when I was talking to a friend and suddenly I felt that something was about to happen. I knew that this person would talk to the other and I knew exactly what she/ he's going to say or do about it. I knew the movement of the people if there were people around me. Sometimes, I test this 'adventure' by not doing anything. I let everything happen but I am making my guess about what's going to happen at the same time. I seldom wrong. What I see is exactly what I picture in my head.

At other times, I 'interfere' the situation, just to satisfy my curiosity. And if I feel bored. For example, I saw a friend who's going to ask for a marker to another friend. Instead of letting her have the marker from this friend, I asked around whether someone could lend her one. It usually worked and the plot of the 'small universe about a marker' is changed.

Fortunately (or unfortunately?), these things happen very rarely. And the events are not so important. I don't know if these things can go to more serious cases such as saving lives before an accident happens or stopping crimes before they take place.

Psychologists say that it is 'deja vu', some kind of a memory dysfunction. From what I've read, it is some kind of disease. Oh, well.... Even if I want it to stop, it's not my call anyway, right? I promise myself that I would do good with it. Just like the Uncle said in SPIDERMAN the movie, 'With great power, comes great responsiblity'.
